Mountain View Mommy: Sand, Trucks and Testosterone

About Me

I live in Mountain View and am a stay-at-home mother of two boys. My life before kids included a technical consulting career (which I hated), organizing the on-campus recruiting program at Stanford within the Career Center (which I enjoyed), and then working as a florist (which I loved). This blog is my hobby, and a simple way for me to catalog stories and events from my life with my husband and children. It is my way of not taking life so seriously. Some posts will be funny. Some will be sweet. Some will be antagonistic. Most will have a high level of sarcasm in them. If you know me, I write like I talk. Stream of consciousness. Out of my mouth, before I can cover my mouth. I mean no offense, so please don’t take any. Read and enjoy.

  1. My 3 1/2 year old son is almost potty trained. I understand what you have been going through…. My daughter was potty trained very easily — wearing panties before two but with my son it has been so different. I also have an 18 month old so I am a little distracted. Anyway you made me laugh so I had to leave a comment.

I found you by when I went to Google and typed in preschool co-op Knoxville, TN I will have to read more of your blog to see if you mention a co-op.
